Curtain rail replacement and rehanging curtains

A young woman in Partick called us out the Fix-My Handyman to replace her broken curtain rails. The curtains she had hung on the rails were far too heavy for them and they had become unusable, failing to properly open and close.After consultation with the client we were able to advise on the type of rail that would be able to cope with her heavy velvet curtains. We supplied the new rail and fitted it on a Saturday afternoon, which was the best time for the client. We rehung the curtains on the new rail and the client’s bedroom now has a completed luxury feel to it. We were able to meet the clients needs by completing the work at the weekend. We were efficient and quick and were out of the property quickly. Properly fitting the rail to the wall with strong enough screws is essential to ensure a long life.
